On 14th February, 2026, Purushottam High School successfully conducted a Project Based Learning (PBL) programme along with a Food Mela in the Ground Floor Hall of the school. The programme was organised with the objective of promoting experiential learning, creativity, collaboration, and real-life application of knowledge among students.

The theme of the PBL was “Save Our Environment Through Waste Management.” Students from different grades actively participated by preparing innovative and informative projects based on waste segregation, recycling, composting, reduction of plastic usage, and sustainable living practices. The projects reflected thorough research, critical thinking, and a strong sense of environmental responsibility.

The PBL exhibition provided students an opportunity to explain their concepts confidently, improve communication skills, and engage in peer learning. Teachers guided and supported students throughout the planning and execution of the projects, ensuring meaningful learning outcomes.

Along with the PBL exhibition, a Food Mela by parents was organised which added enthusiasm and joy to the event. Parents and students showcased teamwork and entrepreneurial skills through well-managed food stalls, while also maintaining hygiene and discipline. The Food Mela created a lively atmosphere and encouraged social interaction among students, teachers, and parents.

Overall, the Project Based Learning programme held on 14th February, 2026 was a grand success. It helped students develop life skills, environmental awareness, and confidence while making learning engaging and enjoyable. The programme truly reflected the school’s commitment to holistic education.
