Report on Anti-Drug Awareness Drawing Competition Prize Distribution Ceremony

The Anti-Drug Awareness Drawing Competition, organised by the Narcotics Department, was conducted with the objective of creating awareness among students about the harmful effects of drug abuse and encouraging them to adopt a healthy, drug-free lifestyle. The Prize Distribution Ceremony was held at Purushottam High School, Bandra (East) to honour the winners and appreciate the enthusiastic participation of the students.

The programme was graced by the esteemed officers from the Narcotics Department:

The dignitaries were warmly welcomed in the gracious presence of Director Mrs. Prema Kotian and Principal Mrs. Vandana Kamble.
Addressing the gathering, the officers spoke about the serious consequences of drug abuse on individuals, families, and society. They urged the students to make informed and responsible choices, remain focused on their goals, and lead healthy, disciplined lives.

Their inspiring and thought-provoking message motivated the students to stay away from drugs and become responsible citizens. The officers also assured the school of their continued support by conducting more awareness programmes and interactive sessions in the future to educate and empower students towards a safe, healthy, and drug-free life.

The winners of the drawing competition were felicitated with certificates and prizes in recognition of their creativity and meaningful portrayal of the anti-drug message.

The programme concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks delivered by Principal Mrs. Vandana Kamble, who expressed her sincere gratitude to the officers of the Narcotics Department for their valuable guidance and unwavering commitment towards spreading awareness among the youth. She also thanked Director Mrs. Prema Kotian, the teachers, students, and all those who contributed to the successful organisation of the programme.

The event concluded with a collective pledge by everyone present to say no to drugs and yes to a healthy, responsible, and drug-free future, leaving the students inspired to make positive choices and contribute towards building a healthier society.
